Electric Heater Blamed

Tate Road Fire

A house at 1510 Tate Road in Trion burned around 6:15 a.m. last on March. Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader said the fire appeared to have started near a child’s bedroom that was using a small electric heater. The family was reportedly not at the home when the fire erupted. Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze. The home was totally destroyed. (Photo By Tyler Bishop).
