Gunshots Reported In Summerville

Someone allegedly fired a gun inside the Summerville city limits during the early morning hours Sunday, according to city cops.

Teresa Johnson, of Bittings Avenue, was in bed when she heard the gunshots around 12:44 a.m., according to a Summerville Police report.

“. . . She was laying down in her bedroom when she heard what sounded like a male yelling then possibly two gunshots,” Officer Gary Pruitt reported.

Officers patrolled the area throughout the morning and did not “find anything out of the ordinary,” according to a report.
