Man Arrested For Carrying Drugs Inside Jail

John Wayne Siffles, of 27 West Third Street, Summerville, was arrested on drug charges around 10:10 p.m. Sunday, according to Summerville Police reports.

Siffles, 39, was originally arrested for disorderly conduct and jailed. While inside the Chattooga County Jail, officers allegedly found Hydrocodone pills in Siffles’ possession.

“The two pills were found subsequent to Mr. Siffles crossing the guard line at the Chattooga County Jail,” Officer Gary Pruitt stated.

Siffles is being charged with possession of a scheduled II drug, disorderly conduct and crossing a guard line with drugs, according to court information.
