Pills Left Behind, But Packing Label Is Gone

Someone stole the packing label off a Summerville woman’s prescription pills she received in the mail on April 24, according to a Summerville Police Department report.

Ava Hunter, a resident at the McGinnis High Rise on Marvin Avenue, receives medication through the U.S. Postal Service.

“[Hunter] went out around 6 a.m. to walk her dog and saw a package near the trash drop. [Hunter] found the package to be the one she was expecting with her medication. [Hunter] advised [me] that all the meds were in the box but the letter on the top was missing. She said the letter has all her information as well as her doctor’s information,” Summerville Police Officer Roy Williams reported.
