Jewell H. Kilgore

Jewell H. Kilgore, 85 of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2018.

She was born in DeKalb County, AL to the late Buford and Jennie Harris.  In her younger years, Jewell was a Gospel singer, singing at various churches in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area.  Jewell was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.  She was a very detailed person and dedicated Christian woman.  Jewell was a member of the The Crossing Church.  She was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Clifford Kilgore; children, Vicki (Brian) Cottrell and Jerry (Lynn) Kilgore; grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Paige (Michael), Matt and SarahBeth; three great-grandchildren and her nephew, Mark McKeehan.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, May 6, at The Crossing Church with Rev. Terry Harris and Rev. Larry Knowles officiating.  Interment will follow at 10 AM Monday, May 7, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
