Winning Lotto Tickets Taken; Tire Slashed
Several winning lottery tickets were stolen from a Summerville woman’s vehicle recently, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s report.
Melissa Thacker, of Scoggins Street, left 15-20 winning lottery tickets under her driver’s side visor.
“Miss Thacker advised that she was not sure how much money it was total but the amounts varied between $5 and $50. Miss Thacker said she believed it was someone who knew where she kept them,” Deputy Nicole Sprague reported.
The missing tickets aren’t Thacker’s only problem.
“Miss Thacker also advised that her rear driver’s side tire had been cut and her front passenger side tire has been flat several times. She believes someone is letting the air out. I did see a cut on the rear tire however it was still holding air,” the deputy stated.
The incident was turned over to investigators.
