Mrs. Mildred Inez Edgeworth, age 79, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Edgeworth was born January 14, 1939, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Sam and Azor Mason Hunter. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Mohawk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Elbert “Pillhead” Edgeworth; and a son, James Lee Edgeworth.
Mrs. Edgeworth is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sammy and Chris Edgeworth, Timmy and Desrei Edgeworth; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Lee Banther; a brother, Joe Ray; grandchildren, Jeremy Edgeworth, Jimmy Warnock, Josh Warnock, Brandi Edgeworth, Jase Warnock, Jonathon Edgeworth, Megan Pearson, Haylee Edgeworth, Shyanne Edgeworth, Adrian Edgeworth; 9 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Bubba Spot.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edgeworth will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 19, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Hampton, Rev. Gary Howell, Rev. Jerry Rutledge, and Father John Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joe Ray, Jack Rich, Chaney Warnock, Jonathon Edgeworth, Jimmy Warnock, Jase Warnock, Jeremy Edgeworth, and A. J. Edgeworth. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Mrs. Edgeworth will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday.
