Summerville Couple Jailed After Brawl

A Summerville couple was jailed Friday afternoon after fighting each other at their home on North Street, according to city police report.

Officer David Westbrooks found 73-year-old William Luther Thomas and Brenda Reece, 64, in an argument.

“Reece at one point had struck Thomas in the face with an umbrella and Reece had cuts and scratches on her arm and legs from where Thomas had pushed her down and had hit on her,” Officer Westbrooks stated.

Both were arrested for disorderly conduct, according to police records.
