Alleged Thief Shoved Money Into Bra

A woman shoved $30 in stolen cash down her bra and would not give it back when confronted Monday night, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.

While Shenia Glass was at a residence on Williams Road, someone took money from her purse. Amanda Pollard knows who took the money and tried stopping the theft, according to reports.

“. . . I was advised that when [Pollard[ went into the kitchen area she witnessed [the alleged theif] take money from the victim’s purse and place it into her bra. Ms. Pollard did advise that when she confronted [the alleged thief] about the money, she claimed she had permission from the victim to take the money,” Deputy Corey Fielding reported.

Glass told deputies that she never gave permission for someone to take $30 from her purse, according to a report.

The incident is still under investigation.
