Truck Stolen While Owner Is Hospitalized

Someone stole a truck from the parking lot of the McGinnis High Rise apartment complex while the owner was in the hospital, according to Summerville Police reports.

Johnny Creig, of 255 Marks Road, said he left his black 1989 Chevrolet S-10 on the high-rise lot on May 18 while he was in the hospital.

A witness told him that a woman was spotted driving the $3,500 vehicle around town, according to Summerville Police Officer Lebron Jackson.

The case is still under investigation.
