An electrical transformer has malfunctioned near the intersection of Hwy. 48 and Hill Avenue in Summerville. Georgia Power and North Georgia EMC workers have been called out numerous times during the past two weeks due to thunderstorms.
There is no word on how long it will take to restore power.
