Logging Company Damages Church Lot

A logging company damaged a church parking lot Thursday, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s report.

Members of Perennial Springs Baptist Church said a blue 18-wheeler with a black driver’s side door unloaded an orange log loaded on the church’s parking lot.

I was advised that no one was on the scene from the logging company and they were doing work at the end of Booker Road. Due to the damage to the parking lot and no one from the logging company being on the scene, I did contact Chattooga County on-call investigator B.J. Montgomery and advised him of the situation,” Deputy Nick Robinson stated.
