Shirley Yvonne Peace

Mrs. , age 80, of Trion, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her residence.
 
Mrs. Peace was born in Chattooga County, GA on December 14, 1937, daughter of the late Jay T. Anderson, Sr. and Dora May Bryan Anderson. She was a member of the Trion United Methodist Church and prior to retirement, was employed in the Finishing Lab at Mt. Vernon Mills. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club and loved to cook and can, but nothing took the place of spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Peace was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Peace; sisters, Frances Marie Lowrance and Elizabeth Smith; and brothers, Frank Anderson, Harrel Lee Anderson and J.T. Anderson.
 
Mrs. Peace is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Melody and Randy Mitchell, Debbie and Randy Hall and Tammy and Kenneth Adams; sister, Mary Ann Sweatman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Celia Peace; sisters-in-law, Barbara Anderson and Montyne Anderson; grandchildren, Jon and Susan Mitchell, Ashley and Jeff Olivas, Zach and Jaime Hall, Kristy Mitchell and Jordan and Amanda Adams; 14 great grandchildren; special friends, Casey and Jewel Brown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services for Mrs. Peace will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with her pastor, Rev. Skip Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
 
Pallbearers will be Jon Mitchell, Drake Clowdis, Jordan Adams, Ezra Adams, Zach Hall and Jadon Rosas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cortney Wilbanks, Zayne Adams, Harrison and Caroline Mitchell, Nayla Rosas and Braxton and Rance Hall.
 
Mrs. Peace will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
