Squatters Found At Trion House

An employee with a local real estate company noticed that someone was living in an abandoned house on Friday evening, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.

Sandra Littlejohn, from Teems & Teems Realty, said 330 Melba Drive in Trion should be vacant because it was foreclosed upon by a bank.

“Ms. Littlejohn stated she discovered there were two females living in the residence . . . Littlejohn stated the subjects at this residence have turned the power and water on in their name. I spoke with all parties and the subjects stated they would be out of the residence in 24-hours. All parties agreed to this time frame,” Deputy David King stated.
