Thief Strikes Twice On Hwy. 100
Someone stole a $3,500 ATV on Hwy. 100 near the Chattooga-Floyd county line on Saturday, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
Billy Tolbert, of 13535 Hwy. 100, called deputies after he discovered that someone stole his $3,500 Polaris Sportsman ATV. This is not the first time a thief has struck.
“Mr. Tolbert advised me that they think that it is the same male subject that stole a golf cart and a pull behind trailer three to four months prior to this incident. Mr. Tolbert advised he has video cameras set up around the chicken houses and that they did have a video of the male subject. . .” Deputy Marvin Armstrong III reported. “I did get pictures of the male subject and asked if there was a way to save the video where he advised yes and that he would get someone out there who could make copies of the video for me. This incident was turned over to investigations.”
