Ruby Lee Green

Mrs. Ruby Lee Green, age 82 of Dalton, GA, departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home. She was born December 24, 1935 a daughter of the late Sam Berry Mullins and Pearl Louise Henderson Mullins. She was also preceded in death by her son, Johnny Green, sisters, Alice Louise Wright, Mary Higgins, Nora Lou Brewer McCally, Nancy Vowell, brothers, Terry Brewer, Robert Brewer.

She is survived by her children, Marvin Lee and Carol Rhear of Cumming, GA, Woody and Cynthia Rhear of Dalton, GA, Sammy and Janey Rhear of Rocky Face, GA, James Edward Green of Calhoun, GA, Ruby Ann Hargraves of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.C. and Emily Brewer of Rocky Face, GA, Victor and Benita Brewer of Summerville, GA; sisters, Frances Mullins of Dalton, GA, Barbara Brewer of Waycross, GA, Vickie Wooten of Tunnel Hill, GA, Rosie Jarrett of Dalton, GA; aunt, Millie Boyd Bates of Dalton, GA; twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruby Lee Green will be held Wednesday July 25, 2018 at the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
