Mary Ann Rich Coffia

Mrs. Mary Ann Rich Coffia, age 71, of Trion, GA, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Coffia was born December 31, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late William and Mae Bell Morgan Bowman. She was a faithful member of Mountain View Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed in the healthcare management field. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Andy Rich and a sister, Brenda McAlister.

Mrs. Coffia is survived by her husband, George Coffia; sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Rich, Blake and Christy Coffia; daughters and sons-in-law, Lorri and Brandon Talley, Cindy Hefner, Summer and Chris Crocker; brothers and sister-in-law, Dewayne and Katherine Bowman, Danny Bowman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Pat Bivens, Gail Holcomb, Linda and Allan Welch, and Tammy Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy Burns, Brook Belcher, Corey Holmes, Cain Holmes, Caleb Hefner, Gracie Rich, Avery Gambrell, Anniston Gambrell, Krista Coffia, and Kendra Coffia; great-grandchildren, Dalen Belcher, Dawson Belcher, Dax Belcher, and Kai Holmes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Coffia will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from the Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin J. Norton and Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating. Private interment will be held in Aragon Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Blansit, Jimmy Anderson, Fred Hartline, Dennis Bolton, Jonathan Roberts, Charles Barksdale, Corey Holmes, Cain Holmes, Caleb Hefner, and Avery Gambrell. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Sunday School Class of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Mrs. Coffia will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 30, 2018. She will also be in state at Mountain View Baptist Church from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
