Man Cited For Disorderly Conduct After Spat

A local man was cited for disorderly conduct after arguing with a roommate on Saturday, according to Summerville Police reports.

Robin West, 35, of 103 Third Street, Summerville, was cited for disorderly conduct.

“[West] was involved in a domestic dispute with April Judd where she advised she was assaulted,” Summerville Policeman Steve Bates stated. “[Judd] stated that she had been staying with Mr. West for approximately two weeks and decided to move out after two incidents at the residence that she had reported to DFCS. [Judd] advised that she became frightened after DFCS spoke to Mr. West,” Summerville Policeman Steve Bates said.

Judd said she was at West’s house to retrieve a straightening iron and a LED rope light. He allegedly became angry and threw the LED rope and it struck her upper lip.

“She advised that she did not want Mr. West arrested but she did want her things returned to her. [I] met with Mr. West about the incident. He advised that she did not have anything left at the residence and he never hit her but did admit that he had gotten loud when she arrived at his ouse because he had told her not to come there. Mr. West was cited by [me] for disorderly conduct,” Officer Bates stated.
