A Trion-area home was burglarized Friday evening and a neighbor spotted a white male running away, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
Ashley Wade, of Rose Circle, received a call from her neighbor stating that a white male might have broke into her home.
A DVD player, lantern, jewelry, a light fixture, ceiling fan, speakers and three SD cards were taken.
“Ms. Wade advised me that they were in the process of remodeling the house and that they were not living in it at this time but there was evidence where someone had been staying in the house. Ms. Wade stated it had been over a week since she had been at the residence,” Deputy Derek Mitchell reported.
