MARTHA GREEN CALHOUN
MRS. MARTHA GREEN CALHOUN, age 79, of Green Road, Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday evening, August 10, 2018, at her residence. A native Chattooga Countian, She was born to the late Gordon Duncan and Ellen Lucille Worsham Green on March 26, 1939. Mrs. Calhoun was a member of New Hope South Baptist Church and a retired school teacher from the Chattooga County School system.
Surviving are Her husband, Dave Calhoun; daughters, Karry Calhoun Martinez and Christie Calhoun McCarley; brother, Alan Green; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 15th, at 11:00 A.M. from the New Hope South Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Albercrombie officiating, interment in the New Hope South Cemetery. Active Pallbearers, Paul Brison, Tony White, Chuck Petitt, Fred Hardin, John Green, and Michael Green; Honorary Pallbearer Marc Green. The Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
