Puppy Stolen From Inside Home

Someone stole a Lyerly couple’s puppy from their home Sunday, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s report.

Christopher and Della Bendall, of 6919 Hwy. 114, returned home around 1:30 a.m. from the movies and noticed their front door was open.

Mr. Bendall advised that he went on in the residence and noticed the puppy was missing from the left bedroom. Ms. Bendall advised that it was still in a crate. Ms. Bendall advised that they had found the puppy a few days before on Highway 114 near the Alabama state line,” Deputy Nick Robinson stated.
