The shooting happened around 10:45 a.m. on Narrows Road. A husband and wife were allegedly target practicing when the husband was shot behind the knee area by the wife.
They drove to the Mountain View BP gas station, off Hwy. 27, and met an ambulance.
“It does not appear to be a serious injury. He was not bleeding a lot,” Sheriff Mark Schrader said.
The sheriff was not sure what caliber of gun was used. They were allegedly practicing with four different weapons.
“I think it was maybe a .22 magnum,” the sheriff said.
Investigators are looking into the details surrounding the shooting.
