Dog Problems Happen Again On Henderson Street
More pit bulldog problems have been reported on Henderson Street, according to a Summerville Police report.
Ruben Fife, of 36 Woods Street, said his puppy got out of its pin and got into a fenced pen with larger pit bulldogs. The larger dogs attacked and seriously injured the puppy.
“Dispatch advised that there have been multiple animal control calls at the residence. I observed the puppy in the backyard and it was alive but bleeding badly,” Summerville Police Officer Jo Stricklin stated. “I then contacted both animal control and the on call, but did not get an answer.”
The police and animal control officers have answered several calls in that neighborhood during the past two months.
