Man Caught Filming, Meeting An 11-Year-Old

Summerville Police officers are looking into an allegation that a man has been talking to an 11-year-old girl.

A man identified as “Shane” allegedly contacted Jennifer D. Browning’s daughter on two or more occasions.

“On Saturday, according to the complainant, Shane asked her daughter to meet him at the mailboxes on Oak Street. The first encounter Shane was in a gold Toyota Camry with a spoiler on the back. The second encounter he was seen in a black truck. Shane was seen videoing complainant’s daughter. The third incident Shane was seen in a red Nissan Altima around 5-5:30 p.m. Complainant confronted Shane and he advised he was gay and was not interested in her daughter,” according to a police report.

The incidents happened on McGinnis Circle.
