Winners Of The Summerville Scarecrow Contest Are . . .

If you drive through downtown Summerville, you’ll see several scarecrows on various street corners. They were decorated by groups and individuals.

The scarecrows were constructed as entries for the 2018 Scarecrow Building Contest. Summerville Main Street is the sponsor of this event in hopes of giving an extra touch of fall décor to downtown Summerville.

The winning scarecrows were selected through a people’s choice selection during Saturday’s Sum-Nelly. The winners are:

First Place –1st Place Mother’s Mending Broken Halos

Second Place — Friends Of Sloppy Floyd State Park.

Third Place — Mrs Ledford’s 1st Grade Class Leroy Massey School
