A 59-year-old Missouri man was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop on Thursday morning, according to Summerville Police reports.
Summerville Policeman Phillip Cox stopped Duane Timbers after witnessing him driving a white S-10 truck erratically near CVS Pharmacy.
“I observed the truck to make a very drastic and improper lane change at the last minute and aggressively overtook a red semi truck. The semi truck made an evasive maneuver to keep from being struck,” Officer Cox reported. “Mr. Timbers agreed the maneuver he made was very erratic and stated he was on his way to Florida to Disney Land and wasn’t very familiar with our roads. Mr. Timbers seemed nervous and in the conversation did admit to having a misdemeanor amount of marijuana under his front floor mat.”
