Watch For Deer This Fall; Motorist Nabs One

As hunters go back into the woods, the deer are coming out. Be mindful when driving around Chattooga County.

Christopher R. Nixon, of Trion, struck a deer on Allgood Street near Trion City Schools yesterday around 1:20 a.m.

“While on the scene, I did observe damage to the passenger side front bumper of the vehicle. The vehicle being operated at the time of the accident was a [gray] 2013 Nissan Pathfinder,” according to Deputy Corey Fielding.
