Woman Wants To Feed Employees To Nursing Home Residents

An investigation is underway after a local nursing home employee threatened to dismember co-workers, according to a Summerville Police report.

Officer Gary Pruitt said a disgruntled kitchen employee at the Oak View Nursing Home made threats toward other co-workers Wednesday. The employees were asked to write statements about the incident.

“On two of the witness statement sheets, it shows that [the disgruntled employee] has been allegedly stating that ‘She wants to cut people up and feed them to the residents at the nursing home,'” Officer Pruitt stated.

The officer told nursing home staff to contact 911 if they had any further issues with the disgruntled employee. That employee has been suspended, according to reports.

No charges have been made.
