Jackie Mae Humphrey
Miss Jackie Mae Humphrey, age 71 of Rossville, Georgia formerly of the Dry Valley Community, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Ms. Humphrey was born in Summerville, Georgia on June 17, 1941, only child of the late Claude B. “Jack” Humphrey and Mary Nell Pinion Humphrey. She was employed with the Chattooga County School System, having taught 3rd Grade at the North Summerville Elementary School for 19 years.
Ms. Humphrey is survived by several cousins including: Mike and Joyce Humphrey of Rossville, Lisa and Tony Davis of Rossville, Diane and David Ward of Lyerly, Peggy Green, Jimmie Ann Nicholson, Donna Young Whitmire and Pat Money.
Graveside and Interment Services for Ms. Humphrey will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Weaver officiating.
No formal visitation is being planned at this time.
