Utility Trailer Stolen From Georgia Forestry Office

A $2,000 utility trailer was stolen from the Georgia Forestry office south of Summerville on Hwy 27, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.

Dean Cornett, Ranger 3, discovered the utility trailer was missing during an inventory of equipment on the property.

“Ranger Cornett said that the trailer was at the station on Thursday evening of last week, he is sure of that because they were working
on it that day,” Deputy Wendell Flood stated. ” The trailer is a black tag along type trailer. It is 18 feet long by 8 feet wide. It has a wooden bed. The tag on the trailer is GV86741.”
