A Lyerly man believes that people associated with a recent court trial are being harassed, according to Summerville Police reports.
Max. R. Joyner, of Lyerly, took the witness stand last Thursday morning and testified in a case. When it was over, one of the family members involved in the court dispute started following people and getting their vehicle tag numbers.
“The victim stated that the subject watched everyone involved in the case get into their vehicles and appeared to be getting the vehicle information that they were driving,” Officer David Westbrooks stated. “The subject made several gestures toward the victim that made the victim afraid of being targeted for his testimony.”
