Teen Arrested In High School Fight
Yesterday 17-year-old Christian Michael Blackmon was arrested for disrupting a public school, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
The incident happened inside the Chattooga High School gym around 11:35 a.m., according to reports.
“Surveillance video, along with verbal statements from the victim, show that offender became verbally and physically aggressive with the victim, striking the victim numerous times, with a closed fist, about the face and head causing bruising and swelling to victim’s head and right eye,” School Resource Officer Mike Howard reported. “The victim was seated in a defenseless position, at the time of the assault, attempting to lean back to
avoid physical confrontation, and initially unable to stand and defend himself due to the close proximity of the offender. The assault appeared, on video, to be unprovoked and neither the victim nor offender could provide a clear motive for the assault. I copied the video of the incident to a flash drive and took photographs of the victim’s injuries for documentation. The offender was placed under arrest for simple battery and disruption of public school operations and transported to the Chattooga County Jail by
Corporal, at my request, with bond pending.”
