Stolen Car Reported On Maple Drive

An automobile was stolen early Tuesday morning on Maple Drive, according to Summerville Police reports.

Carol Brown, of 176 Maple Drive, Summerville, said someone stole her blue 2008 Chevrolet Colbalt.

“Brown states that she remembers the keys probably being on the counter in her house. The victim was made aware of the vehicle being stolen when she was notified that her nephew Lucas Haley had been involved in an accident on Hwy. 27 at Sike Storey Road in Floyd County. . .” Summerville Policeman Phillip Cox reported. “As of report time, the family was reporting that Lucas was at Floyd Medical Hospital with injuries.”
