Demarcus Etchison

Mr. Demarcus Mashawn Etchison, age 41 of Summerville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly November 26, 2018 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.
 
Mr. Etchison was born in Rome, Georgia on September 6, 1977, son of William Paul Etchison and Yvonne Thompson Etchison. He was a member of the Thomas Chapel Baptist Church and was self employed. Mr. Etchison was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Paul Etchison.
 
Mr. Etchison is survived by his wife, Amanda Reece Etchison; son, Demarcus Mashawn Etchison, Jr.; daughters, Markera Shantell Etchison and Mia Etchison; mother, Yvonne Thompson Etchison; father, William Paul Etchison; brother, William Archie Etchison; sisters, Cynthia Loraine Etchison Smith and Angela Adams; grandchild, Kayden Paige; special niece, Erica Johnson; special cousins, Depharoah Smith, Tammy Thompson, Lorenzo Knox, and Anthony Dozier; special friends, Brian Allen, Shane Reece and Carrie Patty; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Ludy and Bishop V.T. Harden officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas Chapel Cemetery in Lyerly.
 
Pallbearers will be Mark London, Kevin Dozier, Brian Allen, Christopher Thompson, Terrance Dozier, and Lorenzo Knox. Family and friends will be honorary pallbearers.
 
Mr. Etchison will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
