Public health officials encourage flu vaccination
Summerville, GA: It’s National Influenza Vaccination Week, and public health officials with the Chattooga County Health Department encourage everyone six months of age and older to get a yearly flu vaccine. The flu shot takes two weeks to provide protection, so take this time and schedule an appointment with your health care provider or the health department to get your flu vaccine.
The Chattooga County Health Department,60 Farrar Drive, Summerville, offers flu vaccinations on a walk-in basis during regular business hours:
Monday – Wednesday 8 am to 5 pm
Thursday – 8 am to 6:30 pm
Friday – 8 am to 2 pm
