- Melissa Milam, 52, of Mountain View Road, Trion, started receiving social security benefits in October. Someone has stolen $1,000 from her last two social security checks. The incident has been turned over to law enforcement.
- Donald Martin said he is moving from his Mountain View Road residence. While moving, however, someone allowed one of his dogs to be attacked. A neighbor called his dog into their fenced yard and then shut the gate. The neighbors then allowed their dog out of the house to attack his. Martin’s dog suffered several injuries. The dog required a vet visit.
- Someone stole a $400 gun from 1895 Back Berryton Road, in Summerville. The theft happened between Oct.1 – Nov. 30, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
