Thief Strikes Fourth Street Residence

A thief struck a Summerville residence and took jewelry, electronics and household goods last Thursday, according to police reports.

Jessica Dinning, of Fourth Street, said someone kicked in her front door and stole several items, including a TV, tools, two clocks, two jewelry boxes, a security system, a DVD recorder and a Galaxy S7 cellphone, according to Summerville Police reports.

“The residence had been gone through and items were moved around as well. An air conditioner in a bedroom window had been removed from the window but was found lying on the bedroom floor. The back door of the residence was also found to have been left partially open as well,” Officer David Westbrooks stated.
