No One Injured In Monday’s Crash In Front Of CVS

A collision briefly halted downtown Summerville traffic Monday afternoon. Lou A. Bean, 60, of 1215 Hwy. 114, Summerville, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 27 in her silver 2002 Pontiac Bonneville. A 2004 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Kathleen Silvers, 78, of 472 Allen Street, Summerville, made a left turn into the path of her vehicle during which time the front bumper area of her vehicle struck the right front wheel and fender area of Silvers’ vehicle. Silvers said she was attempting to turn onto the CVS Pharmacy parking lot when she traveled into the path of Bean’s vehicle. Silvers said she did not see the other car. No one was injured.
