(Updated) Ronnie Lamar Brewster

Ronnie Lamar Brewster, age 68, of Summerville, GA, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Brewster was born May 17, 1950, in Trion, GA, son of the late Willie Edgar and Dovie Mae Hulgan Brewster.  He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam, and was self-employed in the carpentry industry.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewster was preceded in death by brothers, Henry Thomas Brewster, James Arthur Brewster, Thomas Brewster; sisters, Billie Jo Stancil, Ollie Henderson, Patti Sigler, Ruby Norris, and Louise Brester.

Mr. Brewster is survived by a brother and sisters-in-law, John and Judy Brewster, Dorothy Brewster; sisters, Gladys Hartline, Bernice Wells, and Bobbie Boling; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Brewster will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Michael Lee Stancil and Mr. Charles Edgar Hartline officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Stancil, Quinton Watson, Virgil Hartline, Jimmie Hartline, Chris Boling, Dake Boling, Justin Boling, and Greg Brewster.  Interment will be held at a later time in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.  

Mr. Brester will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Friday.
