Get Paid For Taking A Chattooga Related Survey
Random Chattooga County residents will be receiving a Healthy Living Survey in the mail in the upcoming weeks.
This survey is being conducted by a team at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health to understand what residents think about their community and health, and to learn about healthy behaviors in Chattooga County. Survey responses will guide the work of the Live Healthy Chattooga County partnership and the Two Georgias Initiative.
The Two Georgias Initiative is a project funded by Healthcare Georgia Foundation. There are eleven partnerships across rural Georgia each working to support their local community in improving health and health care access of its residents. Live Healthy Chattooga County began in 2017 with funding from the initiative and is comprised of community residents and volunteers, community leaders and decision makers, community organizations, and healthcare partners working together to improve the health of people living in Chattooga County. Live Healthy Chattooga County completed a Community Health Improvement Plan in 2018 and is in the initial stages of implementation at this time. Membership is open to any interested individual and diverse representatives from across all sectors of the community are encouraged to join.
Not everyone in Chattooga County will receive a survey. Surveys will be mailed to random households in the county, and the survey is voluntary and confidential. The survey takes about fifteen minutes to complete, and participants will receive a $15 gift card of their choice from Wal-Mart or Amazon.com for their participation. Surveys are requested to be returned within two weeks.
If there are questions or concerns about this survey, the contact phone number is 404-727-4875 and email address is TwoGeorgiasEvaluation@emory.edu which are also both listed on the survey.
