Local’s Computer And Bank Account Hacked
A Chattooga County resident said his computer was hacked, according to arrest reports.
Charles Williams said he received a call from someone claiming to be from Apple Support about his computer. The caller was able to remote access his computer.
” The man said that they would charge $10.00 to fix the issue with his computer. Montgomery stated. ” Mr. Williams became suspicious and contacted Apple Support and learned that it was not them who had contacted him.
