Woman falls out of car

A 37-year-old Summerville woman fell out of a moving vehicle on New Year’s Eve around 9 p.m., according to city police reports.

Cops were dispatched to Selman Avenue and found Kerri Evans had injured her left knee and was bleeding from the right side of her head, according to a report.

“Kerri appeared to be delusional during the time of this incident. Kerri stated to officers that she had taken ‘LSD and pills’ prior to her fall from the vehicle,” Officer Gary Pruitt stated.

The driver of the vehicle, John Walker, said Evans fell out of his vehicle near the intersection of Hwy. 48 and Martin Street.

Evans was transported by ambulance to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.
