Bessie Jane Payne

Mrs. Bessie Jane Payne, age 98 of Menlo, GA passed away Sunday- January 6, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Payne was born December 19, 1920 in Wilson City, Chanute, KS to the late Elmer and Jenny Mina Goltry.  She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and a retired nurse, bookkeeper, and tax preparer.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Estal Robert Payne, second husband, Fred Robbins; son, Lyle Robert Payne, and all eight of her siblings.

She is survived by Connie Payne Kelly, Helen & Mike Mosher, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
