Burglar Makes Entry Into World Finance Company

A Summerville business was burglarized Friday, according to a Chattooga County Sheriff’s report.

An employee for World Finance, 11558 Hwy. 27, Summerville, said the backdoor to the business was open when she arrived for work Friday morning. The door had been shut and secured the day before, according to Deputy Nick Robinson.

The employee said there were pry marks on the backdoor.

“I then took photos of the backdoor and did notice several pry-like marks on the locking mechanism itself. Due to the forced entry Chattooga County on-call investigator Jason Burrage was notified and arrived on scene and the case and scene were turned over,” Deputy Robinson stated.
