CHS Wrestlers Take Second At Sweet Onion Memorial

The Indians wrapped up their regular season this week with a trip to Toombs County for the Sweet Onion Memorial. In a field of 18 teams, the Indians grapplers gave their all and brought home second place in the event.
Because of his superb performance on the day, Chattooga’s standout heavy weight wrestler Luis Medina was chosen as “Most Outstanding Wrestler” in the upper weight classes.

“This was a great tune up for area,” Coach Brian Beasley said after the event. “We had solid performances by everybody. Let’s hope we can carry the momentum into next week’s area tournament.”
