Brother Leaves Harassing Messages

A Chattooga County woman said her brother is leaving harassing voicemails on her phone, according to Summerville Police reports.

Kathy Quarles asked her brother to leave her house after an argument Wednesday morning. She told him that she was placing his property outside the home.

“[The brother] did not take the news lightly. In the first voicemail,  [the brother] stated that his property better not be outside and in the second he advised that he would be coming to get his property and would be bringing someone with him. He also advised that he would be contacting adult protective services on Ms. Quarles and her disabled husband. Ms. Quarles was afraid that her brother would be violent upon his arrival so I advised her to call us whenever he got there to keep the peace,” Officer Jo Stricklin stated.
