Royal Ball Coming To Chattooga Library
The Royal Princess Ball is returning to the Chattooga County Library in Summerville after sell-out events last year.
The $10 entrance fee is worth the smiles and entertainment, according to parents.
This year’s events will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 23 and March 30.
The Royal Ball has become a popular hit that the library needs two days to fit everyone into the building. This is the fifth year for the event.
The library can only accommodate about 60 people.
The event started with the blowing of a horn to introduce each child into the room. Each child then poses with a group of Disney Princesses.
Some of the princesses on hand included: Mulan, Elsa, Belle, Snow White, Tiana, Elana of Avalor and other princesses.
The library feeds the kids a royal meal consisting of items like golden nuggets, magic fruit wands, princess popcorn, fairy tale princess cake and sparkling royal water.
After eating, the crowd breaks into groups and participate in various crafts and other activities.
