Trion Investigators Looking For Answers In Yesterday’s Death
The Trion Police Department continues to investigate the death of 35-year-old Joshua Lee Brown, of 2248 Old Hwy. 27.
Brown’s body was discovered by family members in a field and near a creek at the intersection of Thomas Road and First Street.
“Trion Police Officers, EMS and fire arrived on the scene and located the victim on the bank of running water with a 4-wheeler flipped over in the center of the water. The victim was checked and no pulse was found at which time the coroner was called to the scene,” Trion Police Chief David Gilleland said. “At this time this incident is still under investigation by the Trion Police Department.”
Brown allegedly left his home on the ATV around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night. He was heading to the Mountain View BP Convenience Store on Highway 27. The police chief was not sure how Brown died. The coroner has sent the body to the GBI crime lab.
