Items Stolen During A Birthday Party

A Trion man claims items were taken from his home during a birthday party on Saturday, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.

Richard Thornton, of 3750 Spring Creek Road, said after the party he noticed a few items missing, like a few silver dimes and nickels. As he continued looking around his home, he noticed more items had vanished. About $133 worth of items were taken, according to Deputy Corey Fielding.

Thornton has a couple of suspects in mind that might have taken the items.
