Man Attacked With A Piece Of Wood

A 22-year-old man is accused of beating a Summerville man with a piece of wood during a fight Monday on Allen Street, according to Summerville Police reports.

Jonathan L. Arnold, of Trion, was at a residence on Allen Street, when the 22-year-old intruder showed up, entered the residence and started fighting. The intruder picked up a piece of wood and struck him. The intruder then fled as a passenger in a red SUV before the cops arrived.
